There's a few novel style books on knitting.  I would not have even guessed that a while ago.  McPhee, author's last name, writes in a journal like style.  The book knit lit is a triology of knitting novels including Knit the Season a Christmas themed plot.  So, recently I was at a knitting circle.  I had so much fun.  The last circle I went to was at least five years ago.  This one included LeAnn, Anna May, and Jane as well as the owner of The Knittery -- Kim.  The group seems to informally ...

Cashmerino by Debbie Bliss

At the local Whitby yarn shop on Brock St. N. called the Kintterary (truly an organized and friendly shop) is where I got the material for the current project.  A mauve purple yarn by Debbie Bliss and a Grey Wool by Cascades,  The project is just a tuque but that's not the point.  The objective is to learn and practice with a very high quality yarn and to eventually work on a more complex pattern.  The owner Kim already gave me her insight and reading about the technique of Fair Isle will fix...
